Races and Rules

SmallBoats_PetitPlease refer to the Calendar for the latest updates.

Races will be run on Sunday mornings starting at 10:30 am sharp (please arrive one hour early to allow for rigging and warming up). Skippers’ meeting will be held at 10:00 am. All sailors tall or short, young or young-at-heart, are welcome and needed. It is a lot of fun and there’s always someone to help out if you are just starting out. The Learn to Sail program offers free sailing and racing clinics if you need them.

Please contact the fleet captains if you have any questions about the racing activities, race day volunteering or sailing at GRYC in general. The summer is short, so be sure to make the most of it.

North American Portsmouth Numbers are used to apply handicaps to boats that compete in GRYC races.

Please see the calendar for upcoming races.
