Time and place

Races happen on Sunday mornings starting at 10:30 am sharp. Please arrive one hour before to begin rigging and warming up. Skippers' meeting is held at 10:00 am. All sailors tall or short, young or young-at-heart are welcome and needed. It's a lot of fun and there's always someone to help out if you are just getting started. The Learn to Sail program is a great way to prepare for beginning to race.

Contact the fleet captains if you have questions about racing activities, race day volunteering or sailing at GRYC in general. The summer is short, so be sure to make the most of it.

GRYC uses the St. Lawrence Valley Yacht Racing Association (SLYVRA) race handicap scoring system. Race scoring is carried out by the Race Scoring Committee.

Please refer to the calendar on the homepage for updates.
