What is Zeffy?

Zeffy is a 100% free, Canadian-based fundraising platform for nonprofits. Most ticket selling platforms charge a fee for each ticket plus an additional payment processing fee. These fees are paid by the organization or the customer or both! The GRYC has chosen Zeffy to sell event tickets to save on ticket and payment processing fees both for the Club and for you!

Opt-out of the voluntary contribution

At checkout, there will be a suggested contribution amount in the Summary section. This is a voluntary contribution which goes directly to Zeffy to re-invest in development.

To opt out, in the Summary section:

  1. click on the drop-down option, select "Other", then
  2. enter "0" in the Contribution box that appears.
  3. Proceed with your ticket purchase.

What if I don't want to contribute?

No problem! Zeffy's voluntary contribution model is just that: voluntary. If you choose not to leave an additional contribution, the GRYC still gets 100% of the ticket proceeds.
